TRF Cambridgeshire organises regular ride outs which cater for riders of all ages and abilities, offering everything from shorter local routes suitable for beginners to full day events for the more technically experienced.

We try to arrange at least one ride per month between May and October that is suitable for complete beginners,  but ride all year round and aim to accommodate all members’ needs.

Ride outs are led by experienced Group volunteers with good local knowledge and usually in small, sociable groups limited to around 6-8 riders and no-one gets left behind!

We ride right across the East Anglia region and also in other parts of the UK, often with other TRF groups or at dedicated trail riding centre events (e.g. Sweet Lamb in Wales).

We use our Facebook Page and WhatsApp group to arrange and confirm our ride outs.

To ensure we cater to all abilities and tastes, we categorise all our ride outs as follows:

Blue rides: local, relaxed pace rides (typically 3-4 hrs / 50 miles max.) suitable for all, especially beginners and those on larger machines types, over gentle terrain.

Red rides: longer (4hrs+) rides at a steady pace for more confident riders on suitable bikes involving more varied and technical terrain.

Black rides: faster-paced rides for experienced riders seeking new / more challenging & demanding terrain, either locally or nationally, often in conjunction with other TRF groups or at dedicated facilities.
